My Christmas Wish

This year my wish is different than in years past.
This year, my wish is for 4 young girls I know.

Lucy Belle and Ellie Kate are sisters. Born with NKH both of these beautiful children suffer seizures, feeding issues and much more. Ellie Kate is 7 and has just been brought home under hospice care. Her life on earth is ending with as much grace and peace as can surround her. Lucy Belle will one day walk her same path save God healing her. These beautiful girls have 2 brothers and amazing parents. Please pray for them all.

Lorelei is 18 and fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma. She's undergone chemo, transplants and is still facing more fights ahead. Dynamite really does come in small packages and Lorelei is proof of that. She is beautiful on the outside and inside, full of faith and ready to give God all the glory for the work He has done in her. Please pray for her.

Madison is also 18 and I've known her all of her life. She is my brother-in-laws niece and a lovely young woman on the cusp of college and life. She is battling Metastatic Melanoma and undergoing chemo as we speak. She is surrounded by family and friends and fighting for all she is worth. Please pray for her.

So this year's wish is for healing and peace for all of these amazing girls. Please help me pray and please Lord Jesus, touch them.

peace.

Update: Ellie went to her eternal home today. She is free of this world's struggles and dancing with her loving God. Please pray for her family.

My Heart Today

My thoughts today seem to be contradictory, but I think they are not. Here they are.

Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

For if you think about it, God is in every day and as we muddle through, He lead us if we let Him.

peace.
